Open Road Turkey Guide by Adam Pack & Manja Sachet
2003

"Gamirasu is a recent addition to the constellation of Cappadocia area hotels. The Gamirasu has clearly taken its cue from many of the best hotels in Cappadocia area, with success. One advantage this hotels has that others do not is its location in Ayvali village, a postcard-perfect stone village in which this hotel is the lone concession to the tourism market. The village is 5 kilometers west of Mustafapasa If you really want to get away, this is a good place to do it.

If you really want to stay in a place where holistic energy is aligned the way you like, we suppose this is the place for you too. The owners are doctors of alternative medicine, and the hotel offers organic food, holistic workshops and beds without metal (“if there is metal in the bed, it cuts the energy” we were told). The Gamirasu is located in a large compound with large public spaces, dining areas, and patios. Most rooms are not cave rooms but a few are. The situation of the hotel built into the wall of cliff above small Iceridere stream, is pretty. The principle disadvantage to the Gamirasu is its somewhat remote location, but the owners are happy to make arrangements for you.
